As a Clinical Herbalist, I work with people of all ages and with any condition or situation. I help people to create wellness plans that complement the standard medical care they are receiving, and other wellness plans that stand alone. For less than 1/5 of a single health insurance payment, you will leave my office with a plan you can begin taking action on that day. Many concerns begin to resolve themselves immediately, and initial goals are often met within 2-4 visits.

 

I am not licensed by the state of Maine to diagnose disease, prescribe medications, perform invasive procedures, or recommend a person discontinue prescribed medication. As a legally unlicensed health care professional, I do use non-invasive assessment techniques to understand underlying body type and tissue states, to educate clients about their bodies, and to help clients create holistic wellness plans that will promote energetic balance and encourage the body to heal itself.

 

This generally includes tongue and facial assessment, blood pressure and pulse assessment, and a thorough history and lifestyle assessment. I can also order blood work as needed through an independent clinic, assist clients in reading the results, and work with my clients' medical providers to create a complete and balanced plan, making appropriate referrals as needed. Such plans generally include custom herbal recommendations, including custom recipes, for which supplies are often available at my office for an additional fee.

My education and experience in understanding anatomy and physiology, pathology, natural health, homeostasis, energetics, and herbalism enable me to give you the best care possible, alongside your existing healthcare team. I draw from Ayurveda, Southern Folk Medicine, and Traditional Chinese Medicine to help clients understand themselves and what they need to improve their health. All clients receive ongoing support via text and email as they apply their plans.
