Herbal Scavenger Hunt
If you have been to one of my herb walks, or have been introduced to medicinal "weeds" before, this is step two of your training! Join us for a scavenger hunt, where I set you up with supplies and send you off to look for certain plants. The group will join together afterwards to review.

Are you up for the challenge?! Bring a sun hat or sunscreen and comfortable shoes, I'll bring the rest! We're going on a scavenger hunt to find common Maine weeds that may be growing in your back yard, and from which you can make your own medicine!
Each participant will be given a sheet of plant names, with a brief explanation of identifying features. You are encouraged to download the app PlantNet prior to attending this event, to help you as needed, and I will remain among the group and available for assistance as you work through the lists. You will choose between collecting a sample of each plant or snapping a photo, and at the end we will all gather around to compare finds and discuss experiences!
If you are attending the Herb Walk earlier in the day, you are invited to bring a picnic lunch and camp chairs and hang around until the scavenger hunt. It is not necessary for you to attend the herb walk first to be present at this event. An outhouse with hand sanitizer is available.

This ticket is for a person ages 16 up. Children under 16 are free. It includes materials needed for the scavenger hunt along with guidance from Naomi.
